It’s powered by cutting-edge speech-to-text tech and advanced language models, designed to summarise exactly what matters — clearly, concisely, and clinically relevant.

At Headlamp, we understand that when patients open up, they’re sharing more than just symptoms — they’re sharing themselves. That trust, between clinician and patient, is sacred. And we treat it that way.

To make this possible, we’ve built our platform on Microsoft Azure’s secure infrastructure, ensuring that all transcription and AI processing takes place in region-specific, encrypted environments.

We comply fully with:

With patient consent, AI Notetaker listens in quietly while you lead your session. It:

• Transcribes in real-time

• Protects all data with end-to-end encryption

• Manages user consent so privacy is never compromised

• Outputs a structured note, ready for your review

It’s like having a clinical assistant in your pocket — only faster, quieter, and always on time.

📄 What kind of notes does it generate?

Right now, AI Scribe focuses on the widely used SOAP format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan).
But we’re not stopping there — support for additional formats is already on our roadmap.

✏️ Can I edit the notes?

Of course! AI Notetaker gets you — you’re still in control of the final word.

Before saving to your patient’s record, you can easily tweak the note: refine wording, add missing context, or remove anything unnecessary. It’s your note, your voice — just with less effort.

🔗 Will it work with my EHR or practice software?

We're on it. Right now, you can:

• Copy and paste directly from Headlamp

• Download as PDF to store or share

• Use manual workflows with your current tools

Going forward, we’ll continue to improve EHR integrations to make your workflow as frictionless as possible.

🌐 What browsers are supported?

AI Notetaker is built to work wherever you do. It currently supports:

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Edge

• Firefox

• Opera

• Brave

Safari isn’t supported yet — but it’s on our radar.

🧠 Does Headlamp differentiate between clinician and patient speech?

• ✅ Yes — Headlamp is designed to intelligently recognise who’s speaking.

• This helps improve note accuracy and sentiment analysis, making summaries more clinically useful.

• Coming soon: We’re working on a visual transcript view that clearly labels clinician and patient speech, enhancing readability and context.

🔊 What happens to the audio after transcription?

• In most cases, audio is not retained.

• Transcription happens in near real-time on the local device or secure server.

• In scenarios where audio is temporarily stored, it is automatically deleted after transcription is complete.

💻 Can Headlamp be used during tele health or virtual visits?

• ✅ Yes! Headlamp supports tele health sessions, too.

• Just make sure you’re using a supported browser — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, or Opera.

• Note: Safari is currently not supported.

👥 Does Headlamp support group therapy or multi-participant sessions?

• 🚫 Not yet.
  Headlamp is currently optimised for 1:1 clinician–patient sessions only.
  We're exploring future support for group settings based on user needs.
